Rihanna Meets Her Waxen Doppelgänger

Yesterday we got our first look at the amazingly lifelike wax statue of popstar Rihanna that will be on display at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in Washington DC and today we get to see a personal photo of Rihanna and her waxen doppelgänger which she shared on her official Twitter profile : I think it’s safe to say that Rihanna approves wholeheartedly of this statue. I, too, approve of this statue … mainly because of how spot on perfect it is. I know some folks don’t think the statue is as perfect as I think it is but check out a side-by-side comparison of Rihanna and her wax statue and judge for yourselves … Perfect! Lindsay Lohan Poses For Then Complains About The Paparazzi

Yesterday we saw a few photos from Lindsay Lohan ‘s first full day of freedom since she was released most recently from court-ordered rehab after she was released from a court-ordered jail sentence. We saw photos of Lindsay Lohan behind the wheel of a new Maserati , which is pretty much what you’d expect to see when a Hollywood socialite gets sprung from rehab. Today we get to see a few photos from L. Lo ‘s second day of freedom which included some more running around town. We also get to read the first tweet Lindsay shared on her official Twitter profile since she was incarcerated last month: Clearly.. Paparazzi shouldn’t be allowed to take pictures or video while someone’s driving or at a stop light. 4every1′s sake #trafficpolice See, Lindsay did learn some lessons from her time behind bars and in rehab. You may recall that she was force fed her punishment for violating the terms of 2007 drunk driving conviction … while she clearly had no regard for traffic safety or the lives of other drivers on the road back then, she surely has a new appreciation for traffic safety now. Perhaps Lindsay will become a celebrity ambassador for traffic safety from now on? But while Lindsay was bizzy driving all over town and tweeting yesterday, her assistant Eleanor was spotted at a local pharmacy picking up a few prescriptions . Could it actually be that L. Lo ‘s assistant was picking up meds for her? Read and see more, after the jump … Here is the photo and report from X17 : Lilo’s assistant Eleanor just stopped by Rite Aid in Beverly Hills to pick up the actress’ prescription medications. An eyewitness on the scene tells us this: “I was inside when Lindsay’s assistant went to the counter at the drug store and it looked like she got 4 – 5 bottles of pills. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing — Lindsay getting meds less than 48 hours after getting out of rehab!” HMMM. Now, to be fair, we have NO IDEA who those prescription meds were for. It’s entirely possible that they were not for Lindsay at all. And, even if they were, it is also in the realm of possibility that the medication is necessary and lawfully prescribed. Tho, I cannot lie, it is troubling to see Lindsay Lohan ‘s assitant picking up “4 -5 bottles of pills” just hours after Linds was released from rehab. And The 2010 Emmy Award Presenters Are . . .

We are just 2 days away from the big 62nd annual Primetime Emmy Awards set to air LIVE on NBC Sunday night at 8PM ET, 5PM PT. All week long we’ve been keeping up with Emmy host Jimmy Fallon and his preparations for the show … but today we learn about which of the A-List TV celebs will be presenting awards this Sunday night . True Blood superstars and newlyweds Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have been announced as presenters … as have Glee ‘s Matthew Morrison , 30 Rock ‘s Tina Fey , The Office ‘s John Krasinski among others . Read on to find out who else will be handing out Emmy trophies during the live telecast this weekend: Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have signed on as presenters for the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards show in Los Angeles, organizers said. The newlywed couple’s “True Blood” co-star Alexander Skarsgard has also been booked for Sunday’s event honoring the season’s best in television. The trio joins previously announced presenters Will Arnett, Stephen Colbert, Edie Falco, Tina Fey, Laurence Fishburne, Ricky Gervais, Jon Hamm, January Jones, John Krasinski, LL Cool J, Julianna Margulies, Joel McHale, Matthew Morrison, Eva Longoria Parker, Jim Parsons, Matthew Perry, Keri Russell, Blair Underwood and Sofia Vergara. The last batch of Emmys presenters is unveiled and it includes nominees Claire Danes and Ted Danson. The former is up for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie for her role in “Temple Grandin” while the latter has lost to “Dexter” star John Lithgow in the category of Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series. Joining Danes and Danson in the presenters list are fellow nominee Mariska Hargitay, Emily Deschanel, Nathan Fillion, Christopher Meloni, Lauren Graham, Tom Selleck, Maura Tierney and “Undercovers” couple Boris Kodjoe and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. This string of stars complete the line-up who will take duties on the August 29 ceremony. The show will be broadcast live on NBC from the Nokia Theatre at 5 P.M. PDT. Kylie Minogue’s Got Talent

Yesterday afternoon I got to be the guest of my good friend Tony at the LIVE taping of America’s Got Talent . Despite the fact that neither of us watch the show, we were very excited for the taping because Kylie Minogue was in the hiz to perform the US premiere of her new single Get Out Of My Way . As with all TV tapings, our cellphones had to be checked in upon arrival so I wasn’t able to take any photos personally … thankfully, Kylie posted an amazing photo herself on her official Twitter profile : #getouttamyway !!!!! / I had so much fun tonight at #AGT..thanks to you all….also, BIG UP for Tony Testa’s amazing choreography / Big thanks to David Koma for the amazing dress I wore this evening on #AGT xx Despite all the waiting (4 hours!!!), Tony and I had a blast yesterday afternoon. Jimmy Fallon Wants To Read Your Tweets During The 2010 Emmy Awards

Jimmy Fallon , host of the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards which will air this Sunday night on NBC , is asking for YOUR tweets to help him introduce Emmy Award presenters during the upcoming telecast this weekend. Jimmy is asking that YOU send in clever tweet introductions for 15 of this year’s presenters and he will read the best ones on air during the show: Jimmy Fallon wants your tweet to be part of the Emmy Awards. Fallon, who’s hosting the ceremony on NBC, said the public will be able to submit an introduction through Twitter for up to 15 Emmy presenters, or about half the celebrities who will be handing out trophies. He’ll read the best tweet as each star comes on stage. Starting Wednesday, a list of the presenters involved will be posted at NBC’s website, along with a Twitter link to enter suggested introductions. Previously announced presenters include nominees Matthew Morrison of “Glee” and Jon Hamm and January Jones of “Mad Men.” For example, Fallon said, he’ll announce the chosen tweet, user name included: “@blahblahblah says Jon Hamm is the hottest guy of all time. Here he is, Jon Hamm,” NBC’s “Late Night” host riffed. The Emmys air live Sunday, Aug. 29, at 8 p.m. EDT, from the downtown Nokia Theatre. The planned three-hour ceremony will be live at 5 p.m. on the West Coast and repeated at its conclusion. Paris Hilton Gets A New Dog & A New Intruder

Yesterday afternoon, Paris Hilton stepped out here in SoCal to show off the new pooch she has added to her already massive collection of pets. Very early this morning, Paris awoke to find a man wielding 2 “big knives” breaking into her house. How has your week been so far? Here is our first look at Paris showing off her new pooch Pug Hilton as she shopped at Fred Segal in West Hollywood, CA yesterday afternoon: I’ve long ago lost track of all of Paris ‘s animals but I know she’s got a lot of them … many of them are dogs. It’s unclear if her most famous pet pooch Tinkerbell is still alive or not but if so, I doubt it’d be very happy to see a new pooch on the premises. It remains to be seen if Paris will start carting this dog around in the days to come (especially since the days of the Hollywood “It” Girl toting around pet dogs is long over) but my guess is we may see this little pug a few more times and then never again. In other Paris Hilton drama, she posted a message on her official Twitter profile a couple of hours ago alerting the world to the fact that she awoke to find a knife wielding psycho trying to break into her home! She even shared a photo of the culprit being arrested by police. And, because Paris has never met a situation that she couldn’t exploit for as much attention as possible, she has already started giving media interviews about her “scary” ordeal this morning. Thank god the police arrived quickly.” Hilton told us she was awakened by banging on the windows, and the dogs were barking loudly. Police confirmed to RadarOnline.com that a man in his 40s was being questioned in connection with the incident. It’s unclear if the man had targeted Paris Hilton personally or if he just happened to try and break into her home not knowing who was living there but … yeah, he picked the wrong place. It’s been a very bizzy couple of days for poor Paris Hilton . Here’s hoping she’ll be able to bounce back and get back to doing whatever the hell it is that she does on a daily basis. Kiefer Sutherland Rocks A Speedo In Italy

When last we saw Kiefer Sutherland here on the blog, it was June and homie was just beginning to enjoy his retirement from 24 (which had its series finale in May ). Today we learn that Kief continues to enjoy his downtime while he holidays in Portofino, Italy. And, as they say, when in Rome do as the Romans do … so Kiefer decided to strip down to a skimpy black speedo so that he could catch some rays in the Italian sun: Hello, Mr. Sutherland . I have to say … I like Kiefer on holiday … he looks much more, fun. This all bodes very well for the planned upcoming 24 movie which will reportedly be set in Europe. Perhaps Jack Bauer will strip down to his sexy speedo in that film as he races thru the day to save the world again. HMMMM. One can dream, yes? Yesterday afternoon, our dear Britney Spears posted a message on her official Twitter profile alerting us to the fact that she will be gracing the cover and the inner pages of the new issue of POP magazine . Today, we get our first look at Britney on the cover of POP magazine as well as a few teases as to what’s in store when the magazine hits newsstands on September 1. Here is Britney ‘s manga-inspired POP coverphoto along with the tweet messages she posted yesterday: So excited for you guys to see my POP Magazine Cover shoot art directed by the brilliant Takashi Murakami – Britney / I just saw the photos for the first time and they are beautiful.
