Finally they are over, gosh that lasted longer than I expected! Friday night was bad. Samantha was deejaying at her sister Charolette’s party at LA’s Bar Marmont and five bouncers had to keep Lohan out. The family did not want Lohan to be there, and she came anyways. Police had to come and break up a massive fight between Lindsay and Sam. A source at the party confirms that the Ronsons had asked Lohan not to attend. Source

Obama effect? On Friday, the Republican National Committee appointed Michael Steele , a former Maryland lieutenant governor, as its chairman. He is the first African American to hold this post. According to an event attendee, the party was held as a last-minute reminder to residents and visitors in Sin City to use their votes in the forthcoming presidential election.
