Britney Spears: Engagement Rumors

As she continues her successful comeback tour, it seems Britney Spears may be secretly planning another wedding- this time to millionaire land developer John Sundahl. Miss Spears met the 40-year-old real estate agent during a 2007 stint in rehab, and after they reconnected at her New Jersey concert last week Sundahl supposedly proposed to the “Gimme More” singer. A source close to the situation told press, “Britney and John used to date, but they reconnected after her show in New Jersey, and now they’re engaged. He got down on one knee in a Subway sandwich shop in Santa Monica a week ago and proposed with a $4.5 million marquise-cut diamond that he bought at a Frankfurt jewelry store.” The source continued, “They plan on getting married at his aunt’s farm in Germany in six weeks. It’s very hush-hush, even to the employees. He’s even putting a $350K fence around the property.” And Sundahl is keeping hush-hush about the whole ordeal. “I don’t want to talk about that.  Britney doesn’t want to do anything until the tour is over. She wants press for her tour and not for an engagement.” Of course, a Spears rep denied the whole thing. “Britney is not engaged, she did not get proposed to at Subway last week – she is currently on tour – she is not getting married on a farm in Germany, she did not receive a $4.5 million marquise-cut diamond ring. Oh, and she has not been abducted by aliens either.”

Whoops! Allure Magazine Calls Isla Fisher Mrs. Borat

Actually, Isla Fisher is not Mrs. Cohen, not yet anyway. The two do plan on getting married. Isla had this to say in her interview with Allure Magazine: On the family she has created with Sacha: “[It is] the thing that I am most proud of. And that is thanks to him.” Sacha was raised in an Orthodox Jewish community in London. Isla was raised as a Methodist and has converted to Judaism.”I think if one wanted to be buried next to one’s beloved and they were Jewish, then one would have to be Jewish, too.” On marrying Sacha: “We are going to get married really, really, even more so now than ever. We have been talking about it, and we have been very close, but it has been difficult to plan [something private.]” On gaining 60 pounds while pregnant with Olive: “Héagen Dazs and I had a great time together.” She went on to say “I loved being pregnant, and I never felt better. I lived it up.” Source
