February 18, 2009 by Sebastin · Leave a Comment
A Perezcious reader just clued us on the dirt Nick Lachey spilled about Lily Allen on Elvis Duran Z100 morning radio show on Wednesday. Lachey had the “honor” of introducing Lily at a recent radio concert in the Bahamas. Nick let Elvis & Co. know that the bratty Allen was completely “rude and standoffish” to him when asking backstage how she would prefer to be introduced! Why do we find this not hard to believe!!!! Clean up your act, Lils. Oh, yeah, and…. CLICK HERE to check out the uncensored photo of Lily’s tittays! CLICK HERE to check out the uncensored photo of Lily’s tittays! Nick Lachey seems to be enjoying his vacation in the Bahamas WITHOUT Vanessa Minnillo… That girl TOTALLY wants him!!!! His hand is in his pocket though, so what does that mean? Her body language is all towards him, but he’s playing it cool… And I think he just can’t help that flirty smirk on his face, he always looks like that. Nick & some blonde! Let’s analyze the body language… She wants him, his mind’s on Vanessa… maybe? Photos: Splash News Online

Even Nick Lachey Is Speaking Out!

Why is he blabbing???? Well, we mentioned Thursday how more details leaked out about Jessica Simpson and her shiteous attempt at a workout video in 2005. Specifically, new info came out that the fitness company owner, Alex Astilean, says they initially offered Jess and hubby Nick Lachey $1 million to appear in the video together, but Jess’s people (aka Poppa Joe ) said she’d do it alone for $1 million – thusly stiffing then hubby Nick out of 500k. Well, Nick was just interviewed by TV’s Extra and asked about his ex-wife’s recent weight gain . “I wish her nothing but the best and I hope she’s happy – whatever size that comes in,” he says. “I can’t believe it’s this big of a story and people are making such a huge deal about it. I’m never ceased to be amazed by people’s reactions to things.” Secretly, he’s probably laughing his ass off! The real question we want answered is, how does it feel to know your ex-wife and her deceptive dadager screwed you out of half a million dollars???? Speak out Lachey! This is your chance to get back into the spotlight, you hasbeen. Use it! [ Images via WENN .]

My Virgin Ears 01.20.09

Click the image to learn about LMFAO! Hello Kiddies! Here’s my second edition of this week’s new music releases that may be worth checking out before your favorite radio station plays it until your ears bleed. If there’s a song on here that I missed, it probably wasn’t worth reviewing, but you’re more than welcome to drop me a line in the comments section and I promise to check it out. If I actually missed it that is. Keep in mind that I review songs that might be hitting the radio very soon. I know there’s tons of great unknown/non-commercial/unsigned artists, but we’re trying to appeal to the masses here. Again, if you submit it in the comments, I’ll check it out and reply or maybe even do a post on it. Thanks! Fall Out Boy: America’s Suitehearts Very cool song from FOB; I like the harmony hits ( which for some reason remind me of Maroon 5 ) throughout the song even though the song is a bit slower than we’re used to hearing from these guys. This song’s not going to get you jumping around like their previous hits, but it’ll definitely get you rockin’ out in your car. Framing Hanley: Lollipop Imagine Fall Out Boy doing a cover of Lil’ Wayne’s Lollipop. Nothing revolutionary here, but I’m a sucker for rock covers of rap songs. Melinda Doolittle: It’s Your Love American Idol fans, get excited!! Finally a song from a former Idol contestant that doesn’t automatically get tossed in the Top 40 “ junk pile”, with the exception possibly being Daughtry. Here’s a great R&B song with that throwback sound that’s pretty popular right now (Duffy, ugh; Winehouse, yay!) and it fits Melinda Dolittle beautifully! It definitely rings of that great Motown sound, especially with the strong back-ups (which are also probably Melinda). This won’t have much shelf life on Top 40, but your Adult Contemporary and R&B stations are going to eat it up. Shinedown: Second Chance Here’s a solid, rock quasi-ballad from a group still trying to develop some name brand recognition. It’s a good song, but not too memorable regardless of a pretty decent hook. You’ll learn it pretty quick, but it won’t become your new favorite song. Expect to hear the crap out of it for months to come. The Tings Tings: That’s Not My Name WARNING: very catchy! This group has gotten quite a bit of exposure recently, especially since appearing on NBC’s New Year’s coverage. I’ve heard about them in the undergrounds for some time now, so all you fans from back in the day… get ready to lose another hidden treasure. The song has a bit of a Hey, Mickey you’re so fine vibe, but the hook really drills this song into your head the first time you hear it. I can’t wait to hear their other stuff, I’m sure they’ll have some more hits up their sleeves. This song has Summer Hit written all over it, but it probably won’t last that long. We The Kings: Secret Valentine I think I saw these guys on SNL not too long ago, and by saw I mean fast-forwarded past their performances. It turns out, maybe I should have let it play through. This is actually a pretty good song, just in time for Valentine’s Day! So get ready to her it ALOT. There’s not much to set them apart from Fall Out Boy or All-American Rejects, but another single might just do it. They need to set themselves apart by really defining their own sound if they want to push those guys aside. In the meantime, tell that girl/guy/both that you think you have no chance with to be your Secret Valentine and toss a copy of this song along with it. You can thank me later. LMFAO: I’m In Miami Bitch First of all, YES that is the name of the group. Second, THIS SONG IS PHENOMENAL! I may be a bit biased since it’s about my hometown, but this song should be demanded at every night club! It’s got a KILLER BEAT, hilarious lyrics, and a killer hook line: I’M IN MIAMI, BITCH! How can you not LOVE it? If you’ve been to Miami, you know that this will become its new anthem. Click the link to the song and hit repeat. After looking into the group a bit, what did I find? Will.I.Am’s fingerprints are all over this along with my former college radio GM and world-renowned DJ, DJ Irie. Baby Bash: That’s How I Go (f. Lil Jon And Mario) Add one more to the Hip Hop-ballad list with Baby Bash making a reappearance after a few years with the help of a couple of other guys who’ve been laying low (Lil’ Jon and Mario). This song will be all over the radio, but don’t confuse that with it being all that great. It’s a-ight. The hook makes this song real catchy, and with the names involved it automatically gets plenty of radio love. You can roll down the window and cruise with this one. Bruce Springsteen: Working On A Dream It’s The Boss sounding better and more mainstream than he has in a LONG time. Great message, and with all the PR he’s riding from The Wrestler and Obama’s Inauguration, this song will be all over the radio taking this album for a nice long ride on the charts. It’s a good song, but not a great one. Ray Lamontagne: You Are The Best Thing A certain someone who owns this here blog turned me on to this guy MONTHS ago with this very song. Maybe she should be the one writing this post because this song is AWESOME, and it’s unfortunate that we don’t get to hear more artists like this on the mainstream. RL brings a late 70’s/Philly/R&B vibe to a great set of lyrics that will surely be imprinted on many weddings to come once this song gets out in the open. I’m not sure if it’s got mass appeal, but if you’re a true music lover you can undoubtedly appreciate this guy’s talent. FYI: you’ll eventually buy the whole album. Lily Allen: The Fear Very cool song with a dramatically different approach for Lily Allen after her big hit, Smile . It has a great pop/techno vibe to it, and although she doesn’t push her vocals much in this song, its produced in a great way that exemplifies her accent and haunting voice. It almost gives me an upbeat Dido or Enya feel about it without putting me to sleep. I might buy this track, but I would probably hesitate to get the whole album until I hear more. Quickies: 16 Frames: Back Again – Sounds like The Fray, just not as memorable; decent song | Incubus: Love Hurts – Nothing special, but you’ll probably hear it quite a bit on the air; its missing something | Nick Lachey: Patience – exactly what you would expect from NL; mediocre pop radio-friendly ballad |
