Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon spent their Easter Sunday doing more than just painting eggs… they made efforts to fertilize them! Nick & Mariah are all smiles leaving an IVF clinic on Easter… He is like her damn K-Fed!

Mariah Carey and her hubby Nick Cannon have definitely beat the odds.  No one (including me) thought this couple would make it to their one year anniversary! Cannon says, “First year of marriage was amazing. I’m looking forward to the second year. It’s one of those things, it went by so fast… We’re proving people wrong! They said we wouldn’t make it. We’re making it!” Nick gave his wife a special surprise to celebrate the event. “I got her a short-haired Jack Russell terrier — a girl, named Cha-Cha. She’s 8 weeks,” Cannon, 28, told Usmagazine.com Nick laughed off rumors that the couple are expecting a baby and told Extra he is not worthy of being on a Mariah Carey album. “I am not worthy of being on a Mariah Carey record,” he insisted. “Please, we’re going to try to keep her career soaring. I can’t even step into the studio with that woman. She is incredible.” Nick was hanging out in South Beach meeting with fans and taking photographs.  Does that mean Mimi is in town too? Nick Cannon To Host America’s Got Talent

Nick Cannon is set to replace Jerry Springer as host of America’s Got Talent on NBC this summer. NBC big-wig Ben Silverman called Mr Mariah Carey “a true triple threat, a multi-talented producer, actor and musician” and allowance collector. How much did Mimi have to promise NBC to get Nick that gig??? Cannon will be judging alongside Sharon Osbourne , Piers Morgan , and David Hasselhoff . And while the show isn’t necessarily looking to draw in younger audiences with Cannon, NBC isn’t opposed to it either. This should be interesting! Mariah’s New Music Video Director? Nick Cannon!

This just smells like a disaster waiting to happen. And we lovesit! According to a new casting notice, none other than buttboy acclaimed auteur Nick Cannon will now be directing Mariah Carey ’s next music video. The video will be for Mimi’s song My Love. Auditions were held in North Hollywood on Wednesday for actors and extras to appear in the vid. Those “lucky” that make it past the auditions will be shooting the video this Saturday in Los Angeles with Mimoo. Did you know Mariah Carey & Beyonce are friends?  I would think those two would HATE each other… but it looks like they partied together on New Year’s Eve…  Jay-Z is behind Beyonce & Nick is getting squished by Mariah.  I don’t see her drinking…  because she’s PREGNANT, RIGHT? Mariah Carey is definitely pregnant!

The New York Post is confirming via their source in St. Barts where Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have arrived after spending Christmas in Aspen (above) is definitely pregnant. I’m no huge fan of either of these two but Mariah has wanted a baby for along time.  So if the news is true, Congrats!  It does look like she is sporting a bit of a belly in the picture above.

Mariah Carey to Sprout MiniMimi?

We’re Chicagoans, so we’re a bit preoccupied this morning imagining our two most recent governors sharing a jail cell, braiding each other’s hair and concocting plans for how not to get raped by incarcerated mobsters, but we are also journalists, dammit, so we must press on. So in addition to wondering just how much it would cost to be appointed to the Senate , we’re also wondering whether the womb of Mariah Carey (whom we have just decided to start calling the Last Mimsy) is currently crowded with fluttering baby wings. Because you just know that any child who sprouted from the loins of the Last Mimsy would have to be half butterfly. Reports Page Six : MARIAH Carey’s wish may finally be coming true. Spies in LA saw the songbird (above) coming out of a well-known ob/gyn’s office on North Crescent Boulevard, “clutching what looked like a sonogram and being greeted by her entourage with cheers. She was ebullient.” It was the same type of paper that Minnie Driver was holding when she found out she was pregnant at the same doctor’s office. Carey, who wed Nick Cannon this year in a quickie Bahamas ceremony, has made no bones about wanting a child. A rep said, “As far as I’m told it’s not true.” Naturally, if this is true, Mariah will have twins. Part of us hopes for boys, so they can be named Louis and Vuitton, but we think Mimi would be wasted on boys. If she were to have girls, she could teach them so many things, like how to expertly paint on fake abs , how to ensure that no vaginal folds are peeking out of your Daisy Dukes, and how to run on a treadmill in stilettos.

I think Mariah & Nick have replaced J-Lo & Marc Anthony as the king & queen of this phenomenon… Tom & Katie have to be included, but she’s just tall… Seriously, have you ever seen that dude Beetlejuice on the Howard Stern show?  The dude with the REALLY small head?  Nick Cannon looks like Beetlejuice next to Mariah and her big ginormous MELON!!
