WARREN THE APE (MTV) First Look
June 15, 2010 by Sebastin · Leave a Comment
Take a first look at MTV’s new original comedy series, WARREN THE APE , which airs on Mondays at 10:30pm ET/PT. Show Description: The 12 episode series is a parody of ‘the life of a celebrity’ reality show, based on a D-grade celebrity puppet, Warren the Ape Demontague. Warren the Ape’s character is a brash, cantankerous, out-of-work actor attempting to clean up his act, patch up his relationships and scramble his way back into the Hollywood limelight with the help of his doctor, Dr. Drew Pinsky. Warren attempts to follow Dr. Drew’s advice, but he always seems to spin into disaster and depravity. Having had a brief taste of success on the former sitcom “Greg the Bunny”, Warren’s life has been in a downward spiral ever since the show got cancelled. Over the past few years, Warren has paid more attention to drugs, booze and women than his career, which as of late has mostly consisted of a series of seedy exploitation films, obscure industrials, low-rent theatre productions and a regrettable string of skin flicks. The series was created by Sean Baker, Spencer Chinoy, and Dan Milano. Warren the Ape is played by Dan Milano.

THE HARD TIMES OF RJ BERGER (MTV) – First Look
June 6, 2010 by Sebastin · Leave a Comment
Take a first look at MTV’s new series THE HARD TIMES OF RJ BERGER , which premieres on Sunday June 6, 2010 at 11pm after the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. This actually looks like a fun new show as you will be able to tell from the promos and clips that I included below, as well as a few photos. Show Synopsis: “The Hard Times of RJ Berger” orbits the hilariously-hellish lives of a deeply unpopular 15 year-old (Paul Iacono) and his scheming, sex-obsessed best friend, Miles Jenner (Jareb Dauplaise). Other than pining after the girl of his dreams, Jenny Swanson (Amber Lancaster), receiving daily beatings from the meanest jock in school, Max Owens (Jayson Blair), and evading the stalker-ish advances of Lily Miran (Kara Taitz), there really isn’t much excitement in RJ’s life. That is, until his anatomical gift is accidentally exposed to the entire school. In a single moment, RJ goes from anonymous to infamous, and for the first time in his life, he feels a tiny sliver of confidence. Swept up in this man-sized wave of recognition, we’ll watch RJ claw his way out of the popularity basement. Whether it’s trying to get laid, dealing with his bizarre parents, or simply navigating the treacherous waters of sophomore year, RJ will live out the stories — good, bad and ugly — that we all remember from high school. One mis-adventure at a time, we’ll see him grow from a shy, awkward boy into a slightly less shy and awkward young man. Part “The Wonder Years” and part Superbad, “The Hard Times of RJ Berger” is a loud, funny, raunchy, sexy look at the life of lovable loser. Enjoy the promos, clips and photos below. March 25, 2010 by Sebastin · Leave a Comment
According to MTV News , THE HILLS is going to return for its sixth and final season on MTV. Effectively, after five seasons , The Hills is canceled. Tony DiSanto, president of programming at MTV, said the following: “We are lucky and honored to have worked with this cast and tell their stories for this long, and we are grateful to the many dedicated fans who have stuck with us over the years. We owe it to those fans, the cast and the show to go out on a high note. And this season will deliver on that goal in terms of drama, story, real emotion and an organic culmination of this saga.” Some of stars of the show, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt and Audrina Patridge had nothing to say apparently about the matter, at least according to their Twitter Pages: Heidi’s latest tweet reads: Designing my FIRST handbag! I am so excited! Whats your favorite type of bag? Spencer’s latest tweet reads: http://bit.ly/d78fJc one of the coolest photos ever! US superheroes Audrina Patridge’s latest tweet reads: has anyone seen bounty hunter?? whats a good movie to watch at the theatre tonight?? So are you happy that The Hills is cancelled? Yes? No?
