The Newly Crowned Miss USA Also Speaks Out On Gay Marriage!

April 22, 2009 by Sebastin · Leave a Comment

Equality for all! This is why Miss North Carolina deserved to win the prestigious Miss USA title! In addition to scoring first place in both the swimsuit and evening gown competitions, Kristen Dalton also knows how to give the right answers to make everyone feel inclusive, like an equal. On this morning’s Today show, Dalton made an appearance and spoke with Al Rocker about winning the title and the whole media buzz behind it. When asked if she was surprised at the political tones of the interview questions, Dalton responded with: “Although I respect her opinion, you know, as Americans, the beauty of America is that we all have a right to our own opinion. I’m proud of [Miss California] for speaking from her heart, and she’s passionate and what she believes in, and she’s proud of herself.” So did Dalton think Miss California received a fair question? The Miss USA winner said it was! “Absolutely a fair question. It’s a social issue that surrounds us every day that I think citizens should be aware of. As a state representative, I think we should be prepared to answer it.” And of course Rocker asked Dalton how she would have responded and if she received that question, and she gave the response of a true Miss USA. Dalton explains: “The beautiful thing about America is that we have the right to choose, we have the right to choose what partner we want to love, commit and spend the rest of our lives with. I think that all couples should be able to be recognized legally, and they should be able to enter into a union. Whether or not it should be defined as marriage, I don’t know, I’ll leave that up to the politicians.” Check out the clip above to see the beautiful and intelligent Dalton speak her mind. She also reveals what she thinks of Miss California. PS. Loooove her crown!

I could understand if she was Miss Texas just representin’ her southern bible-abidin’ values… but she’s Miss California… Poor Perez, I’m sure he was looking for a little gay marriage rally but instead the crowd cheered way more for her response than they did for his question! Anyway, I don’t agree with her in the least bit… but she said how she feels with confidence and spoke her mind, at least she wasn’t phony.

Lindsanity Continues To Spiral Out Of Control

April 10, 2009 by Sebastin · Leave a Comment

The LOLhan madness continues! Seems Lindsay Lohan is doing whatever it takes to get her mind off her ex, sa MAN Ronson. The out-of-control LezLo Lindz has been pAArtying it up at clubs A LOT lately and was even caught reportedly drinking some booze – straight out of the vodka bottle. Not a smart idea of a recovering rehabber! So what’s a girl to do? On Wednesday she decided to get her hair done and came out with a tribute to her Firecrotch days, with her hair back to red. And yesterday, Thursday, she went back to the salon and dyed her hair again, to a darker red this time. After a trip to the salon last night, she headed over to the overrated Chateau Marmont to party. From there she went to Hollywood club Teddy’s. However, an insider says Lindsay “refused to get out of the car because she didn’t want to be photographed. She instructed her bodyguard/driver to speed off.” Then she headed over to Bar Deluxe and finally headed home around 2am with some friends to keep the pAArty going! Poor Lindsay, she’s just weeks days away from wearing Britney ’s pink wig or shaving her head. [ Image via WENN .]

THE OFFICE "Dream Team" & "Michael Scott Paper Company" Review

April 10, 2009 by Sebastin · Leave a Comment

What did you think of tonight’s two episodes of the THE OFFICE , “Dream Team” and “Michael Scott Paper Company”? All I can say is well played NBC. You spaced two episodes of The Office in between your new show Parks and Recreations . And guess what? It worked, cuz I watched it all ha-ha. So even though the two episodes were spaced an hour apart, they were basically like one long episode. I loved watching Kevin answer the phones and Michael pulling a Sharon Stone in the chair to Pam. Thank god for the pixilated screen. I was disappointed in Jim for selling out and pretending he played soccer. Even so, it was not his fault that Charles hit Phyllis in the face. Poor Jim, he just can’t do anything right by this guy. Did anyone else laugh when Phyllis got hit? Also, how awesome is Vicrum? He had my favorite quote of the show, “Confidence is the food of the wise man but the liquor of the fool.” So wise and awesome. I was actually really sad to see him get out of the car. I have a feeling that is not the last we see of Vicrum…at least I hope not. I’m still not sure how I feel about Ryan. He use to be my least favorite character on the show, but tonight changed my mind a bit. He hit rock bottom while working at the bowling alley and dying his hair blond, and I love me a good comeback story. He started to grow on me during the car scene, “Do you want to hear about Thailand? Indescribable.” But then, just when I though I’ve been wrong about him this whole time, he referred to Pam as a 6 in New York and a 7 in Scranton. What?? Pam is a hottie Ryan, you should be so lucky! I have a similar feeling towards Michael. He’s the Jerry Seinfeld of the show for me. He’s funny, but he never has the best jokes on the show. Also, unlike Jerry Seinfeld, he can often annoy me and make me cringe to the point I want to turn off the TV. Then, just when I think I can’t take him anymore, he has a serious discussion with Pam and actually makes sense. I was impressed when he found office space and threatened to pop a six pack of whoop ass on Charles. They even made a sale by the end of the show. Maybe they actually have a chance for success?? I’m not sure where this new story line is going with Dwight and Andy, but I like it. Of course Andy would have to be amazing at the banjo lol. That just makes perfect sense for some reason. I also hope that Jim’s RRun Down” doesn’t come back to haunt him. Why didn’t he just ask Charles to explain it to him?? Jennifer Aniston: Night Out in NYC

April 8, 2009 by Sebastin · Leave a Comment

All bundled up as she toyed with her cell phone, Jennifer Aniston was spotted leaving her hotel in New York City on Tuesday night (April 7). The former “Friends” star has been staying in the Big Apple as she films a new movie called “The Baster,” also fitting in a little fun during her free time. Over the weekend, Miss Aniston just so happened to make it to the David Lynch Foundation concert – with onlookers gabbing about how wonderful she looked. “She looked really happy. There was a definite glow to her. She couldn’t stop smiling,” a NY Daily News source tells. “Jen checked out a cute guy walking in. She looked him up and down … twice! She flashed him a beaming smile but got pulled back into a conversation with her girlfriends.” “She was having so much fun. John and their issues seemed like the last thing on her mind,” the insider added.

Kal Penn & Executive Producers Talk About HOUSE’s Episode "Simple Exlpanation"

April 7, 2009 by Sebastin · Leave a Comment

[This post contains SPOILERS if you haven't watched House yet.] After last night’s pretty shocking HOUSE episode “Simple Explanation” which featured Dr. Kutner’s (Kal Penn) unexpected suicide, I am sure a lot of you are left wondering what in the world happened. Well, earlier this morning, Kal Penn, and executive producers Katie Jacobs and David Shore, took some time to talk to the press about Kal Penn’s decision to leave House , as well as how Kutner’s death will affect the rest of the characters. In case you’re wondering, Kal Penn wasn’t fired, he decided to leave the show because he was offered a position as an associate director in the White House office of public liaison. That’s right, Kal Penn is joining President Obama’s administration and heading out to D.C. next week. This position is similar to what he was doing during the campaign. Two of the communities that he will be the point person for are the arts and asian-american. So does that mean Kal Penn has put acting behind him? No. Even though you won’t be seeing him in any new parts while he’s working in the White House, Kal Penn hasn’t shut the door on acting. So there’s a chance he might come back to it. In the meantime, this means no more “Harold and Kumar” movies. But back to House and Kutner’s death. Kal Penn was as shocked as we were when he first heard about it. He even asked David Shore (executive producer) if there was anything he should change in his performance, but the answer he got was “‘Not really’. This really is something that just comes out of left field in episode 20. We don’t want to lead anyone on, and we also don’t want to mislead anyone. It just is what it is, and there’s no explanation for it.” So for all of you out there who wanted to re-watch the episodes to find some hidden signs, you won’t find any. The other question I’m sure a lot of you have on your mind is how is Kutner’s death going to affect House and his team. Well it was time to ask Katie Jacobs and David Shore about it. According to them, this death will resonate at least through the rest of the season. Everybody will process it differently. In fact, Cameron and Chase’s reaction will be brought to the forefront. We will find out that they do not have a unified reaction. And I have to wonder if this could mean some trouble in their relationship. However, Kutner’s death will have the greatest impact on House , which is part of the reason they decided to make the death so abrupt. For the “man who craves answers to not have an answer.” House will not be at peace because he is unable to rest with the idea that he did not see it coming and cannot explain it. He is the one who has the least ability to cope with it. He has no family to go home to. As of now, there aren’t any plans to bring a replacement for Kutner. I am personally really excited to find out what the writers have in store for us on House . This death is bound to bring about some powerful episodes. Don’t forget to watch House on Mondays at 8pm on Fox. Halle Berry: Not Sure About More Babies

March 30, 2009 by · Leave a Comment

She’s been a picture perfect mother during her baby Nahla’s first year of life, but when it comes to the question of having more children, Halle Berry just isn’t sure yet. During a recent interview on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the “Monster’s Ball” hottie confessed, “Yeah, my mind says yes [to more kids] but the rest isn’t up to me- so we’ll see.” Beyond that, Berry says she’s not looking to compete with Nadya “Octomom” Suleman for the largest family.  “I hope I don’t have, like, 14 more!  That’s all I hope.” Late last year, Halle’s babydaddy Gabriel Aubry told press how impressed he has been with her motherly skills.  “I mean, look at her – she is unbelievable!  She is the best mom that anybody could ask for—or wish for!”
