“The Hills” Stars Hit the PaleyFest Stage

Out promoting their hit MTV reality series, the stars of “The Hills” were front and center at the ArcLight Cinemas as part of PaleyFest09 in Los Angeles on Tuesday (April 21). Joining in on the fun were Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port, Stephanie Pratt and Lauren Bosworth, as well as the always-hunky Brody Jenner. Among the highlights of the night’s Q & A session was a big spoiler, as Miss Conrad confirmed that Spencer admits to instigating the sex tape scandal. “We actually have it on tape,” LC tells. “He takes responsibility and apologizes for it.” Getting a little love from the audience, one fan told the gathered cast members: “I feel like I know you all so well. I keep looking at you and feeling like you’re going to recognize me.”

Lauren Conrad’s Clothing Line Lands In Kohl’s

Remember how Lauren Conrad had a clothing line that suspiciously halted production? Yeah, I had to drum up my memory too. Well, apparently that line has come a long way from Kitson and tumbled into Kohl’s. “It is a California chic line,” she tells Usmagazine.com of the new collection, dubbed LC Lauren Conrad. “It is a little more casual. They are basically trying to take that California style and make it accessible everywhere.” The line –with prices averaging between $20 to $60 — will be available in October at Kohl’s stores nationwide, as well as on the company’s website. “We are very excited to announce our partnership with Lauren Conrad, a pop culture icon whose style resonates with our contemporary customer,” Don Brennan, the senior vice president of Kohl’s, told Us in a statement. Pop culture icon? That’s a bit much don’t you think? Something along the lines of boring and predictable would be much more befitting. I guess if maybe they put a Miley Cyrus asian photobooth in the stores maybe they can attract enough 12-year-olds to buy some clothes. Source

Lauren Conrad: “Family Guy” Acting Lessons

She may be one of the most famous Reality TV personalities, but when it comes to actual acting Lauren Conrad says she isn’t a natural. The “Hills” hottie recently told press that she enlisted the help of an acting coach to help her get ready for her guest starring role on “Family Guy.” “I hired and acting coach for the day to get me through it because a lot of the lines later on in the episode that I did are very complicated.  There are a lot of facts and big words, and I had to say it as if it was coming to me very easily the lines ahead of time, instead of just reading them. I actually had to research some of them!” And LC was grateful for the extra help.  “My coach that I was working with told me if I really understood what I was talking about, it would come through a little more true.”

One star from The Hills that will be missing from the filming nuptials of Spencer Pratt & Heidi Montag ? Lauren Conrad , of course! How utterly shocking ! Lauren Conrad: Back in the Big Apple

She had a crazy travel schedule all weekend, and this morning (April 20) Lauren Conrad was spotted arriving in New York City on a red eye flight. The “Hills” hottie looked a bit worn out as she made her way through the terminal, sporting a black jacket, cream colored scarf, slim fit jeans, and flip flops. Prior to her Big Apple arrival, Miss Conrad spent all of a day in Los Angeles where she was spotted arriving late Saturday night (April 18) with a gal pal. Earlier that day, LC hosted the official grand opening party at Wet Republic at MGM Grand Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, having flown in from NYC.

Looking stunning in her gown on the red carpet, Lauren Conrad hosted the official grand opening party at Wet Republic at MGM Grand Resort and Casino in Las Vegas last evening (April 18). The MTV reality starlet made the trip to Sin City for a quick payday following a short stay in New York City. Meanwhile, Miss Conrad has recently landed herself a role in the FOX cartoon series “Family Guy.” Conrad will be playing herself, being known for a dramatic life on her hit series “The Hills.” She will join Peter Griffin and his dysfunctional family for a episode playing the date of the Griffins’ family dog, Brian, who ends up using Lauren to hide his true affections for a mystery character. Conrad’s co-star Whitney Port will also make a cameo appearance in the series. Catch the episode May 3rd.

Lauren Conrad: Topshop Retail Romp

Just arrived in the Big Apple, Lauren Conrad was spotted shopping at the brand new Topshop store in Soho on Thursday (April 16). Joined by a gal pal, the MTV reality starlet was looking cute and cozy in a jacket, scarf, leggings and boots, although she seemed to be having a tough time hailing a cabbie upon finishing her retail romp. Meanwhile, “The Hills” cutie has recently confirmed that she will not be doing any more seasons of the series. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt think The Hills will be just fine without Conrad and it sounds like they aren’t the only ones. Friend Audrina Patridge recently told press that she thinks everything will be fine without Lauren and that she still believes fans will be loyal to the show, saying, “Yes, we’re like family to our audience.”

Making the cross-country flight out of Los Angeles, Lauren Conrad was spotted arriving into JFK Airport in New York City on Wednesday night (April 15). Trekking out of the terminal to an awaiting car, the MTV reality starlet was dressed for the chillier temperatures, looking casual cute in a light longsleeve top with black leggings and her coat in-hand. Meanwhile, it was recently announced that LC is branching out in the world of TV with a guest spot on the hit FOX animated show “Family Guy” – which airs on May 3rd. “She dates Brian for an episode, but I’m not going to spoil it [by saying what happens!]” show creator Seth MacFarlane told press.

Audrina Patridge Denies Plastic Surgery Rumors

It’s no secret that Audrina Patridge’s face has been looking a bit more streamlined lately.  But she insists it’s not the result of plastic surgery. The “Hills” hottie told press, “People think I’ve got my nose done. My chin done. I just laugh at it.  I’m just losing my baby fat – everyone grows up and changes.” Audrina added, “There’s always rumors.  People are always going to point things out and it’s entertainment. It’s funny. Doesn’t bother me. Goes in one ear, out the other. I read it, forget it.” Meanwhile, Miss Patridge has been busy developing and shopping her new show around Hollywood.  And she says she’s not surprised that Lauren Conrad has announced that she’s leaving “The Hills” after this season.  “We were all pretty much ready to branch out. Go our separate ways.  We feel like it’s run its course.”
