Kellie Pickler: Stunning at the ACM Awards

She’s no stranger to the glitz and glam of industry awards shows, and Kellie Pickler looked right at home at tonight’s 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. The “Best Days of Your Life” songstress gave the paparazzi plenty of eye candy, sporting a strapless champagne-colored multi-textured gown and a simple blonde hairdo. Miss Pickler is in good company as some of country music’s biggest names are assembled at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Hosted by Reba McEntire, the 2009 ACM Awards will feature performances by Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert, Heidi Newfield, and Taylor Swift.

Her personal life has been surrounded with controversy, but that didn’t keep LeAnn Rimes from smiling as she arrived at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday evening (April 5). The country cutie happens to be the recipient of the Home Depot Humanitarian Award in recognition of “all the time and effort and passion she devotes to many charitable organizations.” Enjoying a full weekend in Sin City, Miss Rimes played a free outdoor concert at the Fremont Street Experience just last night (April 4). The show capped off two nights of concerts with other performers including Julianne Hough, Kellie Pickler and the Zac Brown Band.

Jessica Simpson & Co Announce ACM Awards Nominees

Kellie Pickler Talks About Troop Tour

Doing her part to spread a little holiday cheer amongst the troops, Kellie Pickler opened up about her trip to visit military personnel in Germany, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kosovo and England over the past week. Telling of the experience on her MySpace blog, Pickler wrote, “I just got back from my second USO tour. Once again, the most incredible thing I have ever done in my life. … THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to the men and women serving our country. I will never take what you do for granted.”
