Kellan Lutz and Peter Facinelli: “New Moon” Junkies

Studying up on their roles while waiting for their bags, Kellan Lutz and Peter Facinelli were spotted arriving at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Saturday night (April 18). The “New Moon” co-stars browsed through a copy of their upcoming movie’s book before grabbing their luggage and heading out to an awaiting car. Enjoying a break from the Vancouver set, Facinelli then spent Sunday night out at the Henry Fonda Theater. The vampire hunk attended the opening night of “Back to Bacharach and David” alongside his lovely actress wife, “90210” star Jennie Garth.

Say Hello To….

It’s little Henry! As we first showed you last year, Minnie Driver posted a photo of her adorably new baby, Henry, on her MySpace. He’s grown up so much in the last six months! On Monday, the actress was spotted out on the streets of New York City with her adorable tot in a stroller. That little baldy is just too cute! THE TUDORS Season 3 Premiere Review

After the death of Anne Boleyn, King Henry VIII is ready to start fresh with a new wife. And we’re ready to find out more about her. The “lucky” lady is Jane Seymour (Annabelle Wallis), a young woman of noble birth, and this new journey starts tonight, Sunday April 5, at 9pm on Showtime. Yes, you heard it right, THE TUDORS is back for its third season and with it, a new wife, a revolt, and of course betrayal. Even after changing part of its cast, The Tudors still manages to excite me every season, which is definitely a testament to great writing and a great production. But of course all of it would be nothing without Jonathan Rhys Meyers’ wonderful portrayal of King Henry VIII. At the start of this new season, Henry and Jane Seymour get married. And even though a lot of us might have liked Anne Boleyn, I think you’ll find that Jane Seymour is quite the loveable character as well, but in a different way. Where Anne was cunning, Jane is quite honest and generous, which funny enough does not seem to fully please Henry. It’s going to be quite an interesting dynamic to watch week after week. Also back in Henry’s life is his daughter Mary (Sarah Bolger) from his first marriage with Katherine. You almost have to feel bad for her, she wasn’t given the easiest life. And getting back into her father’s good favors will come at a price. But in addition to changes in his personal life, Henry now has to deal with the beginning of what will become the ‘Pilgrimage of Grace’ and also the biggest threat to Henry’s reign. Peasants in the north of the country have risen against the King and his efforts through Cromwell (James Frain) to dissolve the Catholic Church. Will the Tudor dynasty survive? Don’t forget to tune in tonight at 9pm on Showtime and discover a great new season of The Tudors . The King is back! I can’t imagine Henry VIII ever looked this good but it is nice to pretend. The Tudors actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers visited with the ladies from The View today. How about that sun tan he’s sporting after vacationing in Turks & Caicos? He chats about the upcoming Season 3, why he chose to play such a sexy version of King Henry, Joss Stone’s role as Anne of Cleves, and co-starring with John Travolta in From Paris with Love. DVD Review: THE TUDORS Season 2

As some of you may know I am a big fan of Showtime and their shows, and one of my favorites happens to be THE TUDORS . And so of course I was very excited when Season 2 of The Tudors was released on DVD and I got my hands on a copy. When I first heard of The Tudors I didn’t think it would really be my cup of tea, so I didn’t watch Season one, but when it came out on DVD I decided to take a look. It only two 2 episodes to get me hooked. I then of course watched Season 2 and it just kept getting better. And now with a chance to watch Season 2 all over again, it got me excited all over again and ready for Season 3 (which premieres on April 5). Season 2 is all about Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn’s story. If you know a bit of the history of Henry VIII, then you already know how all of this ends, but for those that don’t, I won’t spoil it. All I will say is that Natalie Dormer is great as Anne. I don’t know how she does it, but I loved watching her. And of course The Tudors would be nothing without Jonathan Rhys Meyers who plays Henry brilliantly. The great thing about The Tudors is that even though period shows might not be your thing, it has so much drama, cunning, and sexy scenes, that I think it can appeal to a really large audience. If you haven’t caught up to Season 2 yet, now is the time. In addition to getting all the episodes of Season 2, the DVD also has some extra features, including a featurette that looks at the descendants of Henry, and another featurette in which Natalie Dormer takes us to the Tower of London and relives the last hours in the life of Anne Boleyn. I found the latter one particularly interesting. You can get Season 2 of The Tudors on Amazon . And for some extra fun, Showtime has come up with a fun website, Who The Tudors Are You that tests what your life would have been like if you had lived during the tudors times. How did I do? Well, let’s just say I’m not very high on the ladder. But the question is, how did you do? And finally, don’t miss Season 3 of The Tudors starting April 5 on Showtime. We’re taking Kyla to Disney World next month… I’m wondering if the lines will be shorter because the economy is so bad???  That would be nice.  Not that it’s good that the economy is bad and people can’t afford to go to Disney… but you know what I mean. Minnie Driver Steps Out with Baby Henry Story

Aside from the pictures she posted on her MySpace page a few weeks back, Minnie Driver was spotted out for the very first time with her son, Henry Story Driver. Out in Los Angeles on Saturday (October 25) with her 6-week-old boy, Driver walked nearby her car as she ran errands while Henry slept away on her shoulder.
