They’ve been attached at the hip since the moment they started dating back in February and now Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt are talking marriage. After just a few, intense weeks, the happy couple is reportedly engaged according to E! News.  A source says, “Right now they are thinking about a summer wedding. Maybe August in the Bahamas. Hilton, 28, recently fueled engagement rumors after declaring Reinhardt was “going to be my husband.” “We’re best friends. It’s not like we just met,” she said. “We’ve known each other over the past year. I was in a relationship before and we reconnected. I’m really in love and really happy.”

Is Cage Going Broke? Nicolas Unloads

So maybe Nicolas Cage isn’t doing so well financially, but at least he had the peace of mind to invest in some real estate. Sounds like a solid backup plan! After selling a castle in Germany to a wealthy attorney recently, Cage is unloading more properties, including homes in the Bahamas, Nevada, California, Rhode Island, and Louisiana. Situated in the Garden District, the New Orleans house boasts “six bedrooms and grounds that include a heated pool and statuary…graceful lines, marble fireplaces, plasterwork, stained glass and curved staircase are elegantly preserved.” In 2005, Cage purchased the house for $3.45 million. Demi Lovato’s Trip to Paradise Island

Making the most of her weekend trip to the Bahamas, Demi Lovato was all smiles as she spent time hanging out at Atlantis resort in Paradise Island on Saturday (March 7). The Disney darling greeted fans before playfully posing with water creatures including the sea lions and dolphins with the help of Atlantis staffers prior to her concert later in the evening. Meanwhile, Demi recently chatted with press about the sequel to “Camp Rock,” which is to begin production as early as late spring 2009. “I haven’t seen the script yet,” Demi revealed. “I know just as much as you do, and I don’t even know when I’m filming it other than this fall.” Telling her hopes for the movie, which also stars the Jonas Brothers, Miss Lovato told, “I’d like her to stay the same, maybe a little more true to herself. I guess funnier.”

John Travolta Starts Charity in Honor of Late Son

It was quite a shock when John Travolta’s son Jett was found dead in their vacation home in the Bahamas.  And now the “Face/Off” actor has started a foundation in his honor. According to Travolta’s website, the Jett Travolta Foundation has been set up to “assist and provide relief to children with vision, hearing, mobility, communication, behavioral learning impairments or other special medical, environmental, health or education needs.”

John Travolta ’s son, Jett , passed away in the Bahamas last month at the tender age of 16. After weeks of mourning, the family has just established the new Jett Travolta Foundation. John’s website says: “We would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to everyone who has sent their love and condolences. Jett was the most wonderful son that two parents could ever ask for and lit up the lives of everyone he encountered. We are heartbroken that our time with him was so brief. We will cherish the time we had with him for the rest of our lives. We have received many messages of condolence from around the world and we want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. It has meant so much to us. It is a beautiful reminder of the inherent goodness in the human spirit that gives us hope for a brighter future. With love, John, Kelly and Ella” The foundation will help other children with impairments and will “use its resources specifically to assist and provide relief to children with vision, hearing, mobility, communication, behavior learning impairments or other special medical, environmental, health or educational needs.” The funding may also be used to “make grants to educate the public about the need for a clean environment, provide relief and assistance to children who are victims of natural or man-made disasters, and to fund children’s educational programs.” [ Image via WENN .]

According to a report, the “Waiting on the World to Change” crooner surprised his “Rumor Has It” hottie with the trip, and they left LA via a private jet late Thursday evening (the day after Jen’s 40th birthday).
